- Want to sell LAND !! Take you to the oldest "Guan Wu Shrine" in Thailand
If you want to sell land, there is a traditional belief that paying respects at the Guan Yu Shrine can help. The shrine is the oldest in Thailand and is located at Somdet Chao Phraya Market, Khlong San, Bangkok. Built in 1736, during the reign of King Boromakot of Ayutthaya, the Guan Yu Shrine has been a place of worship for Chinese and Thai people of Chinese descent for many years. Most worshipers come to ask for blessings regarding work and business to ensure prosperous progress.
To worship at the Guan Yu Shrine, it is recommended to start at the Dragon Pillar (Ti Gong) located in front of the shrine. The pillar features four letters from top to bottom, representing heaven, earth, father, and mother. Candles must be lit from those provided by the court. At this point, one can pray for Guan Yu to bring light to their life as well.
Next, all 14 joss sticks should be lit to pay homage at the following points:
Point 1: Worship the angels of heaven and earth, placing 3 incense sticks.
Point 2: Worship various gods at the gathering point of the gods, placing 3 incense sticks.
Point 3: Worship Guanyin Goddess at the riverside, placing 3 incense sticks.
Point 4: Worship Pengkong, Pengma, and place 3 joss sticks.
Point 5: In front of the door, place 1 incense stick on each side.
At this point, one can pay homage to the "Horse Sex Thao," the body horse of the god Guan Yu. The Chinese believe that when a horse arrives, it brings good news. After paying homage, one can walk and ring the bell in front of the shrine to inform the god.
When finished praying, those who want to sell condos or land should bring a copy of the deed document and insert it into their waist. There is a belief that by asking for Guan Yu's guidance, one can sell their property easily.
